UB’s Women’s Health Initiative is a large multi-center Clinical Trial (WHI) and Observational Study (OS) studying the major causes of morbidity and mortality in postmenopausal women. Current research includes many chronic diseases of aging, including cardiovascular disease, cancer, osteoporosis, stroke and cognition, and new studies focusing on predictors of healthy aging.
